Mission Statement
The Mission of Limestone Baptist Church is to make disciples of Jesus Christ and to help them grow in His likeness. This is done by maintaining the Worship of God, providing and encouraging members in Christian Fellowship, Discipleship, and Training for Ministry and Evangelism.
Welcome to Limestone Baptist Church
Limestone Baptist Church has been captured by Jesus' words concerning His church when He said: "My House will be called a House of Prayer." We are a congregation who is seeking to know the will of God for our lives. We believe that each individual is equipped by God to serve the body of Christ and we want very much to be involved in God's work, here on this earth. At Limestone we are striving to be "a church on the move for Jesus Christ." We hope you will come visit us soon.
Words from the Pastor...
Thank You for taking a moment to visit this website. We hope you will also take a moment to pray about becoming a part of Limestone Baptist Church. We are a growing congregation who is seeking to know the will of God for our lives. We believe that each individual is equipped by God to serve the body of Christ and we want very much to be involved in God's work here on this earth. The Apostle Paul states in Galatians 3:28 that, "There is neither Jew or Greek, there is neither slave nor free man, there is neither male or female; for you are all one in Christ Jesus." To this factual truth I say with all zeal that I consider it an honor and privilage to be a part of the body of believers at Limestone Baptist Church. I trust that your heart feels the same manner. Let us not forget, though, the purpose to which God has assembled us together. Matthew 28 1-9 says it very clearly, " Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and Son and the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you; and low I am with you always, even to the end of the age." To this end let us continue by His power to love one another and encourage one another in the great task set before us by our Lord and Savor Jesus Christ.
